Five little ones killed in NYC park by a deranged

Parks Department employee, who took his city-issued golf cart on a rampage, running over and killing five birds in a public park.

Police say they arrested the 45-year-old employee Friday evening after receiving complaints that he was driving erratically in the park in Lower Manhattan. He faces charges of reckless endangerment and intentional injury to an animal.

Three pigeons and two seagulls were killed!

The arrested man had no listed phone number, and information was not immediately available on whether he had a lawyer.

    Why did he have access to a golf cart to begin with???? Didn't he have to pass a background check to get a golf cart??? Was the golf cart one of those dangerous ones that can go over 15MPH??? The gov't should tighten regulations on golf carts so that this does not happen again! If new laws save just one bird, its worth it![:D]

    I bet the concerned citizens of NYC can probebly bring a class action lawsuit against the maker of the golf cart. These things are made for only two purposes. Running down defenseles birds and golf. both of these things have no place in society today.[:D]

    How about the 7 people killed in the "Drag Race" incident?? Musta been an assault automobile, I guess that one was funny also..[:(][:(]
