just wondering if a winchester mod. 12 12ga.trap gun with ser.#1948--- unfired with box and all papers is worth $2400.00

  If the serial number is seven digits, then if your description is correct it would be a decent buy! If the serial number is 4 digits, it is a steal!

  According to Blue Book a Model 12 Trap (1938-1964) the one you are interested in was made in 1961-62. 1,500
  
  Add 60% for milled rib
  Add 20% for brown plastic hydrocoil stock
  Ass 50% for White hydocoil stock.
  
  Plain barreled variations is rare, and not as desirable..
