What are the chances of a pistol being damaged in transit if packaged properly.

You might want to save this information if you dont already have it or save the site..

I just left a shop where the ding dong said "You Must ship guns from an FFL to FFL" that a private person cannot send a gun to an FFL.

This site gives a different answer..

If I purchase a handgun in, say, Missouri, Can I ship it to myself in Montana?

Some state laws prevent a private owner from shipping guns to an FFL in that state. There is no federal prohibition. You have to know the state laws of the staes you are doing business with.

Danny: this ding dong is an FFL and the only rules he tries to go by is Federal,, he has it in his mind that the Federal gun laws supercede all state laws.. But according to Federal law any non licensed person may ship a gun to a licensed dealer..Now states may have a different law,, here in Florida you can ship a gun from a private individual to a private indivual with out the FFL involved..
