I'm glad I don't take most of you guys seriously..

...I would certainly get bent out of shape and quite possibly have a nervous break down...with all the names, insults, etc hurled against me...I'm glad that I'm able to recognize them as friendly banter (for the most part). I'm glad that I'm able to laugh at myself at times and join in with the fun. Don (I think it was Don) said something in another thread about "the friendly banter that has been going on for years is not allowed anymore". I don't buy this at all. Folks have to be able to use some common sense. It shouldn't be that difficult to differentiate between people having fun with each other and real personal attacks, name calling, threats, etc. A newbie that just shows up on the board might not be able to immediately recognize the difference, but then again it's highly doubtful that any of it is directed at him anyway. I'm sure it would not take long for a newbie to figure it out for themselves.

I think we all need to chill a little...quit taking ourselves and this discussion forum so seriously.

As for me, I'll continue poofing/locking real attacks on folks, but I'm not going to start deleting friendly banter...unless instructed by Admin to do so. Common sense has to come into play somewhere.

    You should really learn how to quit suppressing your inner feelings...learn to embrace your true self. That's what DWS taught Matty, who in turn schooled Don. Maybe now that the "Master...baiter" has had his second penile reduction surgery, you'll be more receptive to his advances.[:X]
