Bought a new gun at show

Bought a FEG PA 63 9mm(Mak) yesterday.
$210 with an extra mag.
Very simple mechanics.
Bought it for a play around gun at the range.
Size and feel are very similar to Bersa 380.
DA trigger pull seems heavy. SA is ok.
Does DA pull get better? I assume there is a spring kit from somewhere.
How do they shoot?
Ballistics appear to be just a little bit more powerful than the 380.
Any opinions on keeping it for a practice/play gun?????
Does anyone use for a CCW?

    Ive got a PA 63, and when i pull my trigger the hammer doesnt go back. Mine is SA only. I have to cock it first to fire it.

    Interesting.
    I just went and checked the numbers and trigger pull options.
    It is marked PA 63.
    And it does have a DA and a SA pull.
    How old or new is yours?
    Does yours have a de-cocker safety? Mine does.
    Like it in general?

    Mines got a decocker, its definately an older one, because the guy i got it from had it for a lot of years.

    I paid 100 for mine almost year ago.

    I bought one about five years ago at a local gun shop for $150 plus tax and fees. It came in a strange looking box with an extra magazine, along with a really beat up old holster and the guy tossed in a box of ammo for it. Mine is a SA/DA but the DA trigger pull must be at least 20 pounds! I am surprised that these pistols are now selling for over $200.

    they are OK little pistols..had one years ago, but it was re-barrelled to .380ACP

    It's a PPK clone...I saw the $99 PA63 on the front of the latest SGN

    good bang fer yer buck IMHO
