.. I am going to go to town tomorrow and buy a gun, what should I get?? I was thinking about CZ-75, but I am open to a suggestions, it has to be be under $2K

Also, since you are entertaining the CZ75, I'll say get a EAA Witness w/ steel frame. Copy of the CZ97b, but you can convert between 22lr, 9mm, 40, 10mm, and 45acp with replacement "top half" and magazine from the factory. Kits are around $250 from the research I did when I was pondering one of 'em vs. a 1911. Only reason I didn't get the Witness is that I couldn't find one locally to hold. (small hands makes pistol shopping hard)0 -
