Are these giveaways bogus or genuine?

I have read several times how someone is going to give something to someone because of his/her post total, birthday, or whatever. Does this really happen? The well-known so-called giveaways always list the name of the winner but how does anyone know the winner is an actual person or maybe the same person doing the giveaway? The same question applies to drawings that other people buy tickets for. It would be so easy for someone to pull this off and no one would ever be the wiser.

    If you want to get some insight, do a search on "giveaway" - you will be stunned !!

    I won a giveaway by mond for hosting/guiding/hunting for a couple/three weeks for two, at his multi-thousand acre place in Northeast England.

    I have also noticed trends for some folks to win more often than others.

    I don't think there is any cheating, just the laws of probability at work.

    You should give something away at 100 posts, to prove to yo'own'sef that they are real.

    I've won several giveaways here, from a nice rifle to gun parts to books.

    Oh Boy they are for real!

    I've both won and gave gifts.

    Anyone who has a give a way and don't ship thenext day
    gets castrated. or worse

    They also have to do 100 hours of comunity service on the gun cleaning board.

    And their post count drops to 0 so you start over.

    Thats just the start of things it get much worse!

    I don't have to search! I have already been stunned! About that armor, I think it was Gart Brothers in Denver that had the full suit. I am calling them!

    best way to prove it to you is, you have a give away, and see if you really give the stuff away[:D]




    honestly they are real, i my self have been a giver and winner, but don't think for a minute that it should be a driving force to become a member, the daily abuse just isn't worth it, however the camaraderie and all around good hearted friends are

    Your user name was established on 06/10/2006, so you are not new here. Sounds like you are either disgruntled or trying to stir the pot!

    If that's not the case, simply don't enter and you won't have to risk being disappointed!

    Haven't won anything yet, but then i did just notice these a few weeks ago.

    My feeling on it, it was free I paid nothing so if I do not get it I'm out nothing anyway.

    If I don't get it just know I will stay away from that person.

    PS it will be a while before I have one.[:p]
