19 year old kills girl with scoped 243,@ 200 yards
In Omaha, just a random shooting, shot a 20 year old girl as she sat in the fast food drive thru. Head shot. For no reason, just shot her and then drove thru the crime scene tape to get the cops to chase him. Dressed in full cammo when arrested. Total loser. About 10 blocks from MP5Shooter's house. Omaha sucks!

Is it just me? It seems that every time we get close to elections of some sort, the number of shootings seem to go up.
I can imagine the reprecussions after the election if Dems or Rudy or Romney get into office...we will have a sweeping ban.

This is why i live on the other end of Nebraska, Most of my relation lives in Omaha and loves it... I on the other hand, Grew up as a country boy and am not fond of the big cities.

While officers were conducting their crime scene investigation, a white 1996 Chrysler Sebring drove through the crime-scene tape, police said. Officers at the scene said they attempted to stop the Sebring, but the driver -- police said it was Bormann -- refused to stop.
The vehicle eventually did stop in the area of 29th and Bondesson streets, where Bormann exited the vehicle and fled on foot, police said. After a short foot chase, Bormann was apprehended, police said. Officers said they saw him throw down a high-powered rifle, police said.

i cant for the life of me understand what cracks inside someones brain and causes them to kill people at random! and i dont believe they are mentally ill either!
there are too many cases of it happening where the murderer runs away and does their best not to get caught!if they were ill then why would they run? they would believe what they did was right and stay there to defend themselves verbally to the police!
i hope they treat this murderer like he is...a murderer!...not someone who is mentally ill.

what could possibly prompt a young man to shoot a perfect stranger.
How is it, that a person could get that into there mind, imagine, loading a shell looking through your scope at a young lady getting chicken and pulling the trigger.
I think at times we all get mad enough and think I like to kill that s.o.b. but there is cause, maybe not good cause but enough to make you angry.
Here this dumb-ass just shoots randomly and kills a youn lady who has no fear in her heart that somthing like that could happen.
This guy is a full blown punk, coward, He was probably mad at his mama for not nursing him that morning.
This is the kind of case that the death penalty was made for. It's to bad that he was such a coward that he didn't have the guts to point his gun at the cops.0 -

I've spent a great deal of time playing "First Person Shooter"-games like DOOM, tactical games like Rainbow Six and such...
Went to several netgaming-gettogethers with anything from 12 to 700 computers on a network - all gaming against eachoder like crazy.
But I would never point a gun towards a real human being.!!
I guess it clicks for a very small percentage of youngsters - and an even smaller percentage of those, have the ability or means to actually do it in real life - whereas an even smaller percentage are screwed up enough to actually do it.0 -

I agree with the sarge. Sure, the stable, normal people here on GB forum can watch video games with no ill effect.
But if you take a kid who is emotionally unstable and let him play these violent games for hours a day, for years on end, it could be what sets him off.0 -

Society tells everyone they don't have to suffer the consequences of their actions... in anything... be it drugs, sex, work, anything...
I think things like this are more a symptom of something seriously wrong with a culture. There are MANY causes, and simply pointing at games, or music, or whatever happens to be handy is a cop out.0 -

I hate stories like this but I like them better when the psycho shoots himself. It saves us all the time and expense of a trial and of having to either house or kill him.0
