    Scrap brass cartridge cases was $1/pound the last time I sold some.

    scrape brass went for $1.40 about a month ago. If I take a 50min (one way) trip I can get $1.90.

    Brother "BGJOHN" ......you are 101% correct!!!!......I have been in the precious metals biz for 45 years........Unless you really must-must, do NOT sell any gold or silver, as the US dollar is finito!! Those little thin silver dimes (pre-1965) fetch about $1.20+ @ right now !! Who would have THUNK ?? Silver is the poor man's Gold !!!

    Yep metals are high and the value of U.S. dollar is low compared to the other foreign currencies. Couple of years ago, I bought some cold when it was around $350, now I wish I would have bought more, I did not have a crystal ball [}:)]
