OK, we've all heard some good ones, about walking to school in the "old days". Who's got the best story? I've got a good one, I'll save till the end. Make me laugh...........[:I]

    I used to spend my milk money (a nickel) on 10 pieces of candy/gum at the store on the way to school. I was a bad boy!

    While in high school me and a few of my friends used to party at our deans place. He would buy our beer and such and we would smoke a bit of weed with him.

    We would also druell while stareing at his girl friend! Damn she was hot!

    I walked 1.5 miles each way to the bus stop...rain or shine.

    Our local local grade school when i was a kid was five blocks from our house so I walked to school every day. When it came time to go to jr high school I rode a bicycle the mile and a half. My 8 year old sister (five years younger than myself) was walking home from that same grade school when she was struck by a hit and run driver. She lay in a coma for two weeks and then died without ever opening her eyes again.

    Not a very cheery story.
