    Since you brought it up! Has it always been the case that your vote goes to the lesser of two evils?
    I've been voting for quite a few years ago, and occasionally I find a candidate that I support. I'm becoming less and less political. But usually I just can't get excited about voting.

    so long , the candidate is American, Christian & what ever your balances are....... just vote !! Just dont complain about polotics , if you DONT!!

    Exactly. Funny how Ameicans are willing to have only two major political canidates (Dems & Reps) to choose from when voting for president. If the American people only had two physicians, hospitals, automobile manufacturers, restaurants, etc. to chose from, they would revolt.

    But they seem content to only have to viaible political parties to chose from. And that has not been working all that well for decades but I doubt it will ever change.

    I have a question: Everytime I bring this issue up, lesser of two evils, or I'm voting for a third party, I get trashed by people who say I am just throwing my vote away. And yet, my principles dictate that I not vote for a lesser of two evils in some cases because they are still evil. So, what would you say to someone who says you are throwing your vote away?

    I would ask them if they know what "principled" means. Of course it is rhetorical and sarcastic, because the answer is already known.
    If they said yes the follow up is "What have you against practicing it yourself, or those that do?"

    It makes it hard to get motivated enough to actually vote. It really doesn't seem to matter who you vote for. You never know what they are going to do when the get into office but you can be sure that it will fall far short of the promises they made during their campaign.
