Barbie 10/22
Son and I were in a local gun shop today. We are shopping to replace his first 22 rifle with a 10/22. Thought I had seen every option in stocks until today...........Bright Pink (aftermarket). Looked like someone painted it with Pepto. I knew the Crickett line had these out, but never on a Ruger.
I don't have a daughter, and my question:
Would a pink stock actually influence the purchase of a firearm?[?]
I know a baby blue stock would not trigger (excuse the pun) a purchase from me.

I had a lady come in last month wanting a revolver with pink grips...ended up buying a Taurus with Pink Pearl Grips... 0 -
Lotta folks buying a first gun for a girl. Told grandkid I was gonna get her an AR with a pink stock- she was horrified- she wants an AR, but kid (age 12) wants an evil BLACK rifle! Personally, think it is great psych warfare for the folks that demonize firearms- hard to get all stoked up over a pink rifle with my little pony, barbie, and hello kitty stickers! [:p][:p] 0 -
I considered buying my daughters a pink stock for thier first guns. I was thinking about doing it so they can relate better and get more involved. Maybe it would reassure them girls shoot alot also.

Yeah- was in Gander Mtn, they have some pink wood laminated stocked rifles, laser engraved with "Shoot like a Girl- if you CAN!" [:p] 0
