Oly CAR15 made somewhere between '88-'92.

Shot less than 1000 rounds. $700.00 How'd I do?

    I belive it is the short barrel and collapsable stock. CAR=Carbine(I think). Experts correct me if I'm wrong, 'cause I am not any kind of expert on these things.

    I think a shorty handguard and the colapsible stock are commonly refered to as a CAR15, wether or not that's correct technical term, I don't know.

    I got me one of those too, fun gun! Shoot it at night and check the fireball it makes. Wear some good ear plugs though!

    Sure will Eric! I am thinking I'll be laid off within the next four weeks. I'll let ya know.

    I think MVP nailed it. The barrel is 16" OA, including the flash supressor.
