What do you do with Ammo Boxes?
I bought a black ABS Plastic Ammo box. This sucker is heavy. Lid opens on both ends. Rubber o-ring seal around both lids. SHould be water tight. Heavy little sucker. Should be water proof. Heck, as far as I know, this is standard for ammo boxes any more.
In any case, it looked nice and durable. Know, what do I do with it?
Stock it as a mini SHTF kit?
It is a good box is I traveled with eletonic gear, but I don't.
Thought about it as a toolbox to leave in the truck, but the size and opening is awkward. I already use a black John Deere toolbox off a 4430. Those are nice heavy and compact tool boxes.
Any suggestions.

I store my important papers in mine instead of a file cabinet. it's transportable and goes in whatever storage area I want to put it in. I got an older metal one for 30mm ammo, that plastic one looks more robust but they didn't have those back when I got mine. 0 -
I have two 5.56 ammo boxes bolted to the rack on my three wheeler. They hold my tool kit, hitch draw bars, a tow strap, random spare parts, and duct tape. 0 -
I have 10 ammo cans in the closet.
6 Hold bullets
3 hold brass

What are the dimensions?
May be a good fit in my new closet. I need a storage system for floor storage of ammo. Been using plastic storage containers. Regular ammo boxes are too small. Takes too many to cover floor space. These may fill the vertical space better.0 -
I have two of the same boxes. I have not seen them in awhile. I like the fact that they open on both ends. I keep my 12ga target reloads in one and 308 brass in the other. What did you pay for it? 0 -

I have a weird little office cabinet for ammo. .223 on top. Everything else on the bottom shelf.
Paid too much $19.95.

I know that the first one and the last one aren't of ammo boxes. I just like having waterproof boxes that don't take up trailer bed space. The first one is the bracket I welded on for the portable air tank on my single atv trailer. The last one is a $10 tool box from a yard sale that I made brackets for and welded to my triple atv trailer. The two middle ones are of the ammo box on the single. I just wanted to show them. 0 -

Dang it. No more box for me.
It now holds wills, birth certs, SS cards, uncut diamonds and a gold bar. Yeah, I suppose it is a good idea.0
