This thing is kicking my rearend. I can't for the life of me figure out how to do certain things. I hate relearning things. Things that I do with windows with a click or two seem to take a presidential mandate to do with this thing. Someone please show me the way if I am incorrect. The thing is still fast as hell though. I just dont understand the way the folks think that designed the OS.

    Anyone have one?? Just got one to learn on and I can't figure out how to make the browser window (Safari) full size. Man this is a far cry from Windows. Anyone know of any online source to learn from?

    We got one for the wife for Christmas. Her laptop died and her computer nerd friends insisted she go Apple. This one has the Leopard operating system.
    The recommendation is to take the Apple 1hr per week course for a year, for $100.
    An email attachment came in in Microsoft Word that could be read but wouldn't print. I had to use a Windows machine.
    The machine came with a free (after rebate) HP printer/copier.
    It didn't say anywhere the drivers weren't complete for this O.S. and you had to go on line with a Techie for a few hours to get the copier function going.
    It was a pleasure though to get a Canadian woman techie who knew her stuff cold (5 deg f) and spoke understandable ENGLISH.

    What exactly are you trying to do? There are extensive mac forums to answer any question.

    Macs are pretty user friendly as a general rule, HUSKER'S problem stems from the new OS which does not have certain drivers...

    Sounds like I know what I'm talking about, huh?

    The wife just got (Dec. 29 )her first computer. a 24" hd wide screen imac , 2.4 gig , 320 hard drive , leopard os ,etc. the last time she used a computer at all was in 1999. with 4 hrs of hands on instruction by a neighbor who swears by apple, she is flying on it. unbelievable , she says just do it don't think about it , it's that user friendly, i am still in awe of it's power and ease of use.
