It's a cold one.

Wind chills in the negative teens.

Temps to dip in the negatives tonight.

Fireplace is going, and I've got a glass of Maker's Mark to keep me warm. Oh yeah, and the wife.

    You don't know cold. It gets negative 30 around here WITHOUT wind chill and -44 with the wind chill. Every day is like a war with the cold. It's only been winter since Thanksgiving and already it seems like an eternity that grows longer every day. You literally have to "gear up" before going outside. My hot water pipes froze last night and I had to go outside with a blowtorch to try and thaw them out. It was so cold, THE BLOWTORCH STOPPED WORKING BECAUSE THE PROPANE GOT TOO COLD. I had to bring the blowtorch in THREE (3) times for it warm up so I could go back out and continue the process.

    That, my friend, is cold.
