Who here lives in a HAUNTED HOUSE???
Along the lines of a topic that I previously posted, I'm posting this one. Do you think your house is haunted? Do you seriously hear supernatural stuff at night and/or have things floating around the rooms of your house, get kicked in the arse by the unseen, have the covers of your bed pulled off you in the middle of the night by ghosts, or any combination of creepy stuff, etc.? Are your ghosts better than the ones on TV that never seem to want to perform when others are in the house and a camera is there? Well, I say this to you... make a believer out of your fellow Gunbroker Community! If you SERIOUSLY believe that you have a haunting, and a few members here can back it up (i.e. staying in your house for a night if they know you well enough, or photo, video, tape evidence, etc.) let's all push for you to be on one of these "Ghost Hunting" shows on TV. I'd rather get hooked on watching a show about ghosts that I believe has a thread of truth in it rather than watching the ghost hunting B.S. that is on now. So let's hear it... do you live in a haunted house? CAN YOU PROVE IT? Do you want to possibly be on TV if we all back you up?

I was born near Amityville Long Island.[:0] 0 -
I took these photos inside an Confederate Hotel built in 1854 before it was partially demolished and rebuilt. President Ulysses S. Grant slept in this room after the war. Can you see the ghost?

Honestly... no. [V] And I'm too tired to do a very very quick photoshop or MS paint-job on it. [:D]0 -

I get the covers pulled off me sometimes and the wife denies that she did it, so I must have a ghost.0 -

I'm beginning to think I do. Sometimes I smell a terrible odor and when I ask "Who did that?"...everyone present will say "Not me!" I think my ghost has a gastointestinal problem. Either that or it's a moose ghost..whew!0 -
I think we need a haunted house forum. 0 -
haunted? (to be visited)
its like asking whos afraid of ghosts? whos bugged by spirits?
heck, 1/2 of you dont believe in God, so why should you believe in ghosts of dead people? afterall, when youre dead, youre dead right?
unless of course you may think just maybe , there is something else out there waiting to happen......like judgement.
haunted house, ha. how silly. its what you ask children who havent been taught who GOD is yet. when they hear of ghosts, they get scared because they dont know that a good ghost can put all others in line.
why be bothered by ghosts and have to hire ghost reporters with cam corders when the HOLT GHOST is all you need to tell all the other ghosts to go to HELL where they belong!
way too easy i guess. sad indeed, most people here will go to their graves denying GOD but will hold true to a ghost on tape.[:(][:o)]0 -
I hear dead people...............shhhhhhhh.........you smell something?
"Can you see the ghost?" no but I can tell your lens was dirty. [:D]0 -
I think that this topic should be poofed. The talk of ghosts will lead to afterlife and afterlife will lead to religion. I am going to go ahead and be offended now and beat the rush.

my place is filled with ghosts. i have several orb pictures some as bright as headlights. sometimes several hundred then a few seconds later they are gone. i get cold chills so bad (the nervous type) that i have to leave the room. they seem to be benevolent though. 0 -

Sounds like the Ghost of Christmas Tree Past paid you a visit.
I have proof I have a ghost in my house. He/she leaves ghost turds under my furniture.0 -
I think this forum has a ghost poofer. 0 -
i never could and still cant understand the fasination people have with ghosts and zombies. its just plain weird and stupid.
all seems to point to a generation of people who cant admit that you die and life ends, then you are judged for what you did.
its too easy i guess. instead they have to twist it so your flesh walks around eating other flesh to do what....keep living as a zombie?[8]
heck, if someone was going to believe that crap, why at least cant they invent a good zombie that washesthe car or vacums the rug fo you? no....every time it has to ruin your day. thats called demonic and it is negative. anything that points to negative ISNT of God. its of the devil and should not be messed with.
you dont need to find the devil folks, he'll find you.0 -
Yep - for four years - the dogs could see it but we couldn't. It was a
fascinating phenomena.0 -
Uh....there are no such things as "ghosts". What with millions of people owning video cameras for a couple of decades, if there were any ghosts out there somebody, somewhere would have got one on video.
And that video would have been on CNN by now.
There no ghosts. Nor, to my knowledge, are there any proven cases of anything or anyone violating the physic laws of the universe.
If there are ghosts out there, surely they have some "other worldly" knowledge that they can give us that would convince doubters like me. Surely some ghost somewhere knows where some money or treasure is lost/hidden. The ghosts have no use for it, so how about getting one of them there ghosts to tell us where it is and we can all get rich.0 -

No curmudgeons here. Just an old guy who quit believing in fairy tales many, many years ago. [:D]0 -
i live in a haunted neighborhood!!! they built it on top of an old slave cemetary... they've made movies about it and even put out a few novels. 0 -
My house is haunted with the ghost of the father of the gentleman who built it. Civil War vet, lived here til his death. Previous owners' sons had seen him, too. I've actually seen "him" only once, as did my son, shortly after Mike and I started "living in sin," but he is still here. I don't mind him if he doesn't mind me.
I've posted the story more times than I can count!

My cat occasionally chases ghosts around the house. At least I think they're ghosts because I sure can't tell what he's after. Then again maybe he's just nuts. 0 -
lol! mine cat's do too! 0 -
My ol' Bassett used to stand in the kitchen and look down the hall at absolutely nothing. He'd just stand there and whine until I'd coax him back into the living room. It was spooky. The hallway used to be back yard (we added on during his lifetime), so I just assumed he wanted his yard back.
Then, one night a few months ago, my daughter asked who the little boy was out in the back yard. We asked "What little boy?" and she said "He's sad." We went to the bak window and asked her to show us and she pointed right into the back yard and said, "There. He's right there". Nothing. Yet she insisted that he was standing right there.
That week, I taught her to say "REDRUMMMMmmm" My wife didn't see the humor in it.0 -

For everybody who has regular "contact" with a ghost. Get them to tell you something that a mere mortal could not possibly know.
Then come back and tell me and I will become a believer.0
