OK, flame away !!!!
I have been looking for a 20 gauge for occassional shooting. I did not know anything about Charles Daly shotguns except that they were made in Turkey. I have since found that they accept Remington Rem-chokes (the pumps and auto's --- the over-unders accept winchester choke tubes). They are cheaply made with a lot of plastic parts and a lightweight (assumably) aluminum receiver and other parts. It has a realtree hardwood finish, metal and stock, full coverage.
I got this one at what I thought was a reasonable price. It is as new and appears to have been shot only a couple of times.
What would your estimate be of "a reasonable price" on this shotgun??? I checked the auction side but didn't find one like this. Anyone know of durability of these shotguns ?

    225.00 depending on which of the three models you have.. 259.00 Max...
    according to the Blue Book. They list at 199.00 in the general catalog of guns..

    They are actually decent shotguns, you'll notice that the control placement is a direct copy of an 870, so are the internals for that matter. MVP and Classic are right on pricing.

    I bought and own a Charles Daly Field Tactical (Black with 18.5" bbl) for a home protection shotgun and have not had a single problem.

    For 140 out the door I would say you got yourself a great deal.

    I used a automatic for some of my competition shoots and sometimes when i practice.

    It couldn't quite handle the stress i put it through( Would start jamming terribly after about 250 rounds) as a competition gun, But it was a great field gun.... Killed lots of doves with it[8D]

    It is the 'real tree hardwood' pattern.
