A few days ago, there was a thread about some sheriff in VA. I think that was the state. Anyways his swat team was going to be there to meet the Feds swat team. If they were to come and take property from the farmers.

I saw a topic a while back that said if you purchase a hand gun and it is called in and you purchase another hand gun from the same dealer with in 30 days that they do not have to call it in again. Does anybody else remember this thread and where did it go, I need it to get some money back. It may have been in the expert forum but I thought it was here. Anyway, I just bought another hand gun from the same dealer I bought one from in Dec. and he said he had to call it in again and charged me again. 0 -

I was reading a topic a couple of days ago that had a code to put into cell phones to see the phones address even if somebody changed the sim card and now I can't find that topic again to write the code down like I should have the first time. Can somebody help me with this? thanks 0 -
Somebody has given you some misinformation...besides that, the dealer can charge you whatever he wants on a transaction. 0 -
Specifically:
A NICS check is valid for 30 calendar days, as long as it applies to a single transaction. An FFL may not rely on a NICS check that was conducted more than 30 calendar days prior to the transfer of the firearm.
Example: A NICS check is initiated on December 15, 2004. The FFL receives a "proceed" from NICS. The purchaser does not return to pick up the firearm until January 22, 2005. The FFL must conduct another NICS check before transferring the firearm to the purchaser, and must record the results of the check on the Form 4473.0 -

This is correct...and that NICS check is ONLY GOOD for that one transaction...if you come back in tomorrow to buy another gun, another 4473 and NICS check will be done.0 -
I hate to get anyone in trouble, so I'm not nameing names but my ffl does a check and if within 30 days I get another guns he dosen't do another check allthough I know that he fills out the proper forms, and thats what your being charged for each purchase requires the FFL to fill out the paper work. I wouldn't go back and demand a return of funds, your going to piss-off your friendly neighborhood FFL. 0 -
