Have you ever "worked" someone till they sold you something?..I have tried to buy this gun since 2000 and this weekend he finally caved..at my price too..[:D]..the varmints big and small better hit the road here when it starts to warm up a little..the .308 I have had since 99 it is one of my favs I installed the brake and the weaver V -16 4x16-40 AO [silver in color] w/Leupold rings and bases. and the factory ported .220 swift I just [finally] purchased this Sun,..the gentleman bought it new in 99 and has only fired it 20 times after installing the Leupold vari-x 11 6x18-40mm AO with Leupold bases and rings,it has been in his safe since he purchased it new and he hadn't fired it since 2002,so did I get the shaft on it for 700.00 or what?..[8D]

these two are again a couple of my favs, the one with the harris bi-pod is a BDL Rem 700 .243..1968 model we haved owned since 1971..w/a 100.00 BSA 6x18-40 mm scope with AO..the other is a BDL .308 w/a Bushnell 3x9-38 scope,both have Leupold rings and bases..the Kimber of Oregon model 82 .22 hornet w/Leupold 3x7-33 vx 11 snuck in the pic [:D]..VARMINTS YOU'VE BEEN WARNED!..[}:)][;)]..Loko..

Here is my very best favorite rifle who has been on many hunting excursions in Washington, Alaska and Montana.
Not the most accurate I own but is a great LightWeight 6lb rifle.
Look at the barrel and you will know why it will never win accuracy contests but it has dropped bear and deer.
One bear was coming out of brush right at me at 10 feet. Bwaaaam lucky spine shot quieted it right down.

Randy...that guys butt will not stop bleeding for a while. That was a super deal...how much are you looking for, to sell it? I am sure the caliber doesn't meet your specifications, so I will save you the trouble of finding ammo for it. I heard the 220 Swift had been banned in Ohio...hehehehehe

The 22-250 is an old one that I traded for. Custom bi-pod. Very nice shooter (after I worked the trigger). The .308 is very serious. It gets borrowed alot by local LE's going to the academy. Everytime it goes they always come back with the same question and they always get the same answer, 'No, it ain't for sale."

27.5" #5 Lilja Tube, .300 Win Ackley Improved, Jewel trigger, Matte Bluing on the action, stock refinished, etc etc...Leupold 8.5-25X50mm VX-III Varmint Hunters Reticle. Still working on breaking the barrel in...unfortunately, I moved out west before I broke the barrel in and I do not have near as easy of a place to shoot out here.
