    I remember having to do that by hand. [}:)] Really, the first CS class I took we had to do it by hand before we could write a program to do it.

    Hey guys, whether binary, octal or hex, it's still just numbers. You have to specify what code you are using. e.g ASCII, EBDCIT, FIELDATA, etc.
