Kel-Tec question

Picked up a Kel-Tec P-11 tonight. When I got home with it and started to clean it, I noticed that the mag is marked Mec Gar (made in Italy). My question is this: Does Kel-Tec not make their own mags? I'm just wondering if this gun has an aftermarket mag with it and, if so, where is the original? It is a NIB gun.

    Mine were too, so were the Sig mags

    KelTecs are sold with the MecGar magazines but still should say Keltec on the floor plate.

    Thanks guys. Mine do not say "Kel-Tec" on the floor plate. Not sure what I have! Guess aftermarket. Now to call the seller form the auction side and see what he says.

    Unless I am wrong, it happens, MecGar makes MANY of the factory mag.

    They make Keltecs' mags.

    Many firearms manufacturers use mecgar as the source of their mags.

    As stated above McGar makes alot of factory Mags, but there almost always marked with the gun manufacture's name. They are good quality Mags though.

    I own several mecgar mag's for different guns and they all work like their suppose to.

    And , they made it right.

    I know MecGar makes the Browning factory mags.

    MecGar makes the mags for Kel-tec. The one that came with your P-11 should have a MecGar stamp on the left side along with MG-KTP11-10.
