    big difference, imho.

    a liberal is one who thinks that the gov't should provide most anything you require.

    a libertarian is one who thinks the gov't should keep its nose out of your business.

    Somebody will show up to clarify my definitions.

    I hate the democrats and don't care for the republicans that think they need a bigger government to do their business and spend money like crazy. So, I a libertarian, maybe one day we will have a voice when people see what its really about.

    Used to be, quite a difference. But the gap has narrowed quite a bit and is getting smaller every day, especially on issues like the "living" Constitution, abortion, homosexual marriage and other homosexual "rights," international relations, national defense, "civil liberties" (i.e. personal license), America's role in the world, misapprehension of the basic role of government, personal responsibility, and a host of other issues.
