Time for the flu
In the middle of a set of nights.
Last night I could feel some crap in my lungs.
Woke up this afternoon, lungs are full of fluid, joints are aching, throat is sore.
No doubt what it is.
I love this time of the year. Every February.

Thursday I had a tickle in my throat that was causing me to cough. Yesterday and today, no sign of a cough, but my nose has been running non-stop.
I've been sick more times in 2008 than in 05, 06, and 07 combined.0 -
Left work early yesterday -- nothing going on after the ice removal we'd done most of the week, and I was just dead-tired. So I thought. Today, coughing chunks of phlegmucusputum and feeling like dead-tired is maybe the understatement of the year. First halfway nice day we've had in a couple weeks, too, that I didn't have to work, and I need to get work done on the new "fixer-upper" I bought and have got to start living in at the end of the month, regardless of what's been done or not. This bites.

I have been pretty lucky and somehow escaped getting the flu the last 3 years now. Of course, now that I opened my big mouth, I will have it tomorrow.[:0] Those of you who do have it, hope you have a fast recovery.[;)]
