anybody else have one? Do they make a special tool to get the cannister open and get at the oil filter? I just changed the oil in the girlfriend's car the other day and it was kind of a pain to get at.

  ...I use a 1 1/4" socket with a 10" or 12" extension. A swivel above the socket helps but isn't necessary. Don't over tighten it when re-installing the canister. Just snug is all you need. After all, it's only plastic. I really like the system, as it doesn't gush oil all over like a spin on filter.
  
  ...Ours is a 2003, by the way, and the filter is easy to get at from under the hood. Others may be different. I don't know.

  Dont the saturn ions/ views have honda motors in them?
