I heard that too. I've the same exact thing myself about that being one big reason Iraq got invaded. so, I'd concur with you on all of it,

    -except-

the Iranians aren't a bunch of ninnys like the Iraqis were, and as it is I think we're stretched waaay too thin to tackle something like that, so it would be most unwise to pick that fight right about now. I don't think the gov't be stupid enough to do that. of course, no telling who's going to be in the white house a year from now.

How about the Iranians are looking out for their own interest would be a better way to put it. Bush and his military might have a agenda for a one world order. Along with this would come a one world currency, the dollar, which will make the rich richer and more dangerous as we all live as unarmed peasants.

McCain is a puppet for Bush. He will fall into the same routine that Bush has going without interuption. The Clintons are into this with Bush. Obama is a hack for Chicago mayor Daly, and Daly wants his piece of the pie. So that is why the elections are going the way they are. All of these people are hacking away our rights under the constitution in the name of national security to get their way.

I also feel that the Bushes and the Clintons have a more personal agenda. I think they are putting McCain in as their man for the GOP, because they know that Hillary will rip McCain to shreds in the general election. McCain is talking like a war mongar, and since this war is so unpopular, Hillary the champion of peace will be elected. However, I feel there will be another terrorist attact in the US, within a year of Hillary being in office, which will give Hillary an excuse to attack Iran and maybe Syria so they can insure that the dollar remain the currency for oil. As far as Chavez, our goverment will fall in line with the drug cartell to take him out.

...I guess Mahmoud Ahmadinejad is complicit with, and a puppet for the Bush Administration too? He, Ahmadinejad and the Ayatollahs have fostered and announced that they wish Israel wiped off the map; words put in their mouth by the Bush Administration? Increased, verified Uranium enrichment, but that is because they have no alternative fuel source to generate electric energy, right? SURELY with their history, present rhetoric they would not be trying to acquire nukes; being the rational peace loving country they are.

...If there is an action against Iran, the twits brought it upon themselves, not because the US is out "looking" for another war, spare me. Of course allow the right (wrong) people in office and as a third world country, we, the US can become the isolationist that the Libertarians dream of.

...Under the Ron Milk Toast Paul administartion we would pull back militarily inside our own borders and allow the world to go to hell in a hand basket; sit back, watch and do nothing, genius. Only then can we broker, negotiate with tyrants and despots from a position of weakness, sheer genius!...[;)]

So, you feel Iranians nuclear threat? How about Pakistan? We buddy up to them and it seems that they have a major terrorist that we would like to get ahold of hidden there. Besides sending them funds to build a army to do nothing, they are building nuclear weapons as well. I would think since we have their lack of cooperation in catching Bin-Laden and his cronies, and their nuclear weapons program would be more of a threat to peace.

And somehow you had to bring up RP and the libertarian party. My thread is about what is going on in the Bush administration, and what I feel we can see happening in the near future. I am only trying to show the members here, (my opinion) Of what I see going on.

Mahmoud Ahmadinejad made it very clear this weekend that he does not support the Westernization of Iran and is publicly making a break with those within Iran who would foster normalized relations with the civilized world.

That's on him, man. Blame it on mistakes we've made in that area over the past years if you want, but the truth remains that he wants Iran to remain philosophically, religiously and educationally in the 12th Century. Only with 21st Century technology.

He is the biggest threat to the planet since the late 1930's.

    In My humble Opinion.

Follow the Money. You are absolutely right. But I don't think
people realize how evil this is, it's uncomprehensible to
some that we would slauter for money. Sacrifice our young men,
    for money.

It is not just Iran. Turkey and Pakistan will both fall within 10 years. They will add Egypt and Syria, and some mid-africa countries.

As to the Gold standard. There is not enough gold in the world to back the modern currency system. If you even thought there was, all the Islamic Oil nations would cash in and just remove all the gold from the West and take it to Arabia.

Meanwhile, babies are being born in Europe which will make the whole area Islamic, while America loses its history and culture to Hispanics who did not share in that process, except to have been in two Wars against the United States.

Maybe you don't Capt, but I've been in war and I would hate to see my sons have to go, especially my grandson, over some bull crap that our political leaders come up with. They would use our children and grandchildren not for our national interest, but for their own gain.

If you think that "Bush's War" is bad lets just see what happens if Hillary gets elected. You can bet that every little pizz azzed country that can is going to test her/our resolve. I'd be willing to bet if she gets in, within a few years 9/11 is gonna look like a picnic. It will be a turning point in this nation. We will be forced to go kick azz or succum to the "world order" (God forbid).

...sarge quote:And somehow you had to bring up RP and the libertarian party.

...Maybe because your referenced RP's speech, which appears to to be the basis of this post...is why I brought RP up?? Libertarians, are isolationists, period...RP, is a Libertarian.

...I knew a dyed-in-the-wool Libertarian that made RP look like a sane, logical commie!! Him and his Libertarian friends eat/slept and breathed Libertarian ideology. To them, everything was a conspiracy, black chopper's and "they"; the guys in black suits.

...This guy and his friends were VERY active in the Libertarian party here in Texas. Attended, hosted a LOT of party gatherings of the faithful, not just "wannabe's" by any means; this, is where I get my opinions of the the Libertarians.
...I know that parinoia seemed to be a common thread among this guy and his friends, to them it was not parinoia, to me, it is. THAT, is not saying that our government does not engage in "God knows what"...but c'mon; for this poop to permiate every fiber of your being, is a l-i-t-t-l-e much to me.

I'm not saying any of RP's supporters here are that into it, maybe yes, maybe no, I don't know.

...Pakistan, Iran..ANYONE that has nuke capability is a possible threat, in the general sense. Pakistan is one successful assasination attempt away from being a MAJOR world problem.

...As for as an immediate threat in that region, Iran gets the prize!
The world can pay a price now in stopping them, or pay a very hefty price later. The people in the mid east do NOT negotiate from a position of weakness, only power. Any "talks" have all but fallen by the wayside in the wake of the "surge" in Iraq, ever wonder maybe "why"?? How about when we were not doing too well, they, Iran, were in a "better" position...as thru their proxies and direct involvement in Iraq...they were in the "drivers seat" so to speak.

...Now with all indicators showing the terrorists getting their azz's kicked, Iran is in a weakened position...so Iran just shuts the hell up and is waiting to see if we continue to successufully prosecute the war; or tuck our tail and leave as the far left and isolationists would have us do. In which case, Iran will be more than glad to start singing like canaries at the negotiating "table", as in their minds they would be in the cat birds seat again...remember, the game of chess was invented by these "people"...[;)]

What's an unconstitutional war? First of all, a President can't declare war. That, in and of itself, is unconstitutional. However, your comment was in regards to a war--not the manner in which a war was declared.

Turn off consipracy TV and turn on CNBC or something like that sometime. Learn a little bit about why the Euro CAN'T keep going up in value compared to the dollar. There are limitations.

Oh yeah....the dollar gained in value against the Euro last week. Go figure.

Here's a hint. When you're shaving in the morning, turn on one of the financial networks and watch the global reports on the markets that have already opened. It will help keep you current on things.

I should have used the qualifiers.

These are both quotes from John McCain.

sooner or later, it's going to come to some kind of world government. read Lenin's ideas on how capitalism ultimately ends up with large monopolies. he was spot-on, and he was writing almost 100 years ago. governments are the same way as running a business. it's more "cost effective" to have 1 government running the whole show, isn't it?

right now it's more cost effective for everybody to be on the same standards, money laws language and otherwise, and not too long from now gov'ts around the world will all be more or less the same, and they will find that it's to their advantage to give up their sovereignty and merge into 1 .. big .. world .. government.

don't like it? I don't either, but that's beside the point. look how big corporations beat out small businesses where it counts. that's just the way it is. economics makes it happen.

but as far as evil cliques of shadowy power mongers, bush, klinton, and whoever else you are talking about are merely puppets of who's really in power, don't you think? world domination plots began long long ago with some old european farts. think illuminati. we'll never know who they are and they control everything, as much as they have power to.

We hear a lot today how Iran is a threat to the United States because of their nuclear expansion and their terrorist threats. We heard on the news by the MSM how Iranian boats threaten our Navy at sea one day not long ago, and how there was one remark of how they were going to blow-up one of our ships with their little boat. A lot of talk is going around about attacking Iran, and I believe it will be soon and here's why.

In the 70's, Henry Kissinger travel to the oil producing countries and tried to sign an agreement with these countries by telling them how rich we will make them, but they had to sell their oil in dollars. Well, Saudi Arabia signed on to this, but Iraq, Iran, Syria, and Venezuela did not.

In 2000, Saddam Hussein demanded that he be paid in Euros for his oil. This created a unstable economy since the dollar was back by oil, instead of gold like it was originally. Of course Bush then was trying to come up with any reason he could to start a war with Iraq and 9-11 happened and there was his excuse. WM D's, terrorist cells, what ever he could think of to go to war with Iraq, until he got his way. So, Saddam was over thrown and executed and now the dollar is the official currency for oil in Iraq.

In 2001, Chavez was talking about switching over to the Euro and within a year there was a fail coup attempt to remove him from power in Venezuela with the assistance of the CIA.

So that brings us up to today. In Iran, they are ready to open up the Iranian Oil Borse, March 20 2008, which will be marketed under the Euros. They are saying that they will sell 4mb/day in Euros which will future destroy the value of the dollar. To prevent this, President Bush will probably again declare a unconstitutional war on Iran to try and save the dollar. The only true way to save the dollar and thousands of lives, would be to go back to the gold standard.

For a good read and more information, go Here.

Bush will not launch a war with Iran so almost everything you wrote is false. Try again.

I have a tendency to agree with glockguy. We are moving in the direction of a one gorenment world. I think there is biblical prophecy about that too. Anyway, as far as the middle east goes, if you ever get the chance, try to pick up Col. David Hunts books. He was a middle east terror specialist in the special forces and they are mind opening to read. I have come to the conclusion that this area of the world and its Jihad idealism which includes terrorism as a way to establish disruption in the attempt to gain control will always be a mess. We will be at war with Iran eventually know matter what brings it on is moot in my mind. They are horrible extremist's and that alone will bring us to war. As far as the one world governemnt, I beleive it will happen. Bush 1 used to talk about the "new world order" all the time in speech's and I thought back then it was coming. The door is open for it. I am absolutely against such a thing, but it's probably going to show up in my lifetime.

Russia and China will step in again like our Korea push.

Iran is part of their "Nato", that Shanghai Cooperation Organization they created.

Been to www.spp.gov yet? Basically our NAU website but with a different name because the conspiracy theorists have demonized the NAU term.

They claim there's nothing secret about this because this website exists. Although Bush, the prime minister of Canada and Mexico's president signed this treaty in secrecy back in 05. Without the public's knowledge or congressional approval. Barely made the news.

But there's no secret because the website exists! If you don't have internet access, you don't get to know about it I guess.

I'll tell ya, maybe I am a little paranoid. I don't have any trust in our goverment anymore at all. I hope and pray that you folks are right in what you say. Some of your opinions have given me a little more hope. Thanks for your responses.

By the way Colt. You have compared me to a Libertarian, but I considered myself as more of a Constitutionalist. I am registered as Republican. I'll admit that my thinking has turned alittle more to the left (scary!!), as I use to be hardline conservative. Maybe it's something that goes with age, hairline, waist, and mind. [;)]
