Can anyone tell me what a patrol boat looks like with a Five inch shell in the middle looks like?

Just curious.

If it were moving, I don't think you could hit it with a 5". Patrol boats/speed boats at 1000 yards are more 20 mm fodder.

I'm not sure I understand the question, but these are pictures of a few "gunboats".

The Patrol Gunboat's main battery is a 3 Inch 50 caliber. None of them carry a five inch. A five inch is a fairly large gun. You generally see them on a full size man of war. All the Patrol Gunboats are Pepsi cans by now. I don't know the fate of the PBRs and Swift Boats.
