dealing with someone that wont listen
yesturday I dropped by to see my dad
he was very sick, I went out to get
him some sprite, some soups, I feed
him, told him if he did not feel
better I would take him to see the
doctor. today I called him early
he told me he was feeling better.
I dropped in on him, he had not been
out of bed all day. I know when you
feel bad, you dont want to do anything.
I took his temp/blood pressure, he had
a temp of 104, blood pressure was 117/56
I feed him again, and ended putting him
to bed. We had a talk about mom.
he said he tried to talk to mom, but she
would not listen.
I tried to turn the table, but how do you
get someone that does not listen to go
to the doctor?
He's all I got left, but I think he really
wants to give up. anybody I really need
help with him.

That sounds like a difficult situation. If you can't get a doctor to make a house call and you can't or aren't willing to force your father to go to the doctor then I haven't much to offer you besides good thoughts, best wishes and prayers. You can always keep trying to talk him into letting you take him to the doctor. Maybe you can wear him down to where he agrees. 0 -

A 104 body temperature is the dangerous part. He might have a bacterial infection that can be easily treated with antibiotics, if you cant get him to a doctor, get the antibiotics to him. 0
