For the workin people that R rough on Cell Phones
Like me, I have had this thing a week got the insurance and put it to the test- It works! Its a Mil-spec phone. its big but the thing is tuff!

I have the same phone...yes it's very large compared to others..but I have dropped it several times and had it in some sub zero temps and I am very impressed. Holds a long battery life too. 0 -
MY LG, in "padded holster" has served me well, for over 12 months.Verizon has not let me down, even in the Ga back-woods.SO i think it's cheeper, to keep'er...

Man, I would love a good abuse loving cell phone.
My carrier is US Cellular. I have a RAZR. It stays in my front left pocket all day. I have smashed the front screen and have almost destroyed it by getting it wet. (I work on the water)
I dont care at all if it can text, picture, etc. I would just like a rugged phone that has a decent battery and good reception. This looks like the ticket but couldn't find it on US Cellulars phone page. [V]0 -
But does it float? I work and play over the water and floatation would be a BIG plus. 0 -

my current verizon wireless contract should be available for upgrade soon...will definitely be looking inot this phone. I get so aggrivated sometimes at work and my phone goes flying, looks like this one is pretty tough. 0 -

Two of the best phones I have ever owned! Both are 810f compliant, mil spec. They both have been sitting in a closet for over 5 months, to my absolute amazement the i355 turned on with a quarter bar of juice left. The i355 also has the ability to turn into an off network 2 way radio which is nice, but if nextel wasn't limited to just digital towers you probably wouldn't need that feature [:p]
Don't fret though sprint and the DoD have it all planned out, nextel will cease to exist in 2010 the network will be used by the government; Making sure another "terrorist" attack doesn't happen.0 -

A little, But I did get a $100 rebate. The dang thing has been in the rain all day today. I check the battery when I got home and no sign of moisture.
Also it will do Blue tooth, Camera, Video, GPS, etc and all the bells a whistles depending on your plan.0 -
I'm getting one next week through work. I just smashed the screen on mine. Don't put 'em in the side pocket on your bib's and lean against something. I'm rough on phones at work and play. Hopefully it will hold up. 0 -
I had that phone but had to return it because we couldn't get along.
The text was too small for my old eyes.
The phone was larger than I like.
The speaker phone option was not loud enough. (old ears too)
Just realized It probably wasn't the phones fault. I'm becoming a geezer!
