Went To ER yesterday...
Had some back pain for a few days. Took some ibiprophen and didn't really worry about it. Went in to take a nap yesterday afternoon and bingo.. went to get up.. Wow.. landed on the floor and couldn't get up. Called the wife at work and she came home.I was in big time pain. Finally got off the floor in about 15 min after she got there. Ended up in the ER .. Had back spasms that were making me pass out. Man did they hurt.. wife said I was screaming and yelling and I don't even remember. Sat in a wheelchair for 1.5 hours finally the spasms stopped. I ask her how long we had been there.. something like 2 hours . So I ask her to go get the car and my stick and we left. Went to a Dr.'s Care office in town and got some muscle relaxers and pain pills. Feeling real better spent the day in bed. Dr. said it was just a muscle strain and would be better in a couple days. Thanks to the hospital for nothing.

Hope you're feeling better now. The ER will most likely still bill you for the visit even if you did not get any care.0 -
Probably the strain from getting up out of those C4 Corvettes ... I got rid of mine because of the strain on my left knee ...
I refused to do the old-man sit and spin entry/exit ... getting old sux [:(!]0 -

I didn't check in to the hospital. No paperwork had been done. Haven't drove my Vettes for weeks.0 -
Good luck, and hopefully, you'll not be strapped with any more such pain. 0 -
I took a fall and broke my back. if the jack ass
doctors would have fixed me at that time, I could
probably work, hunt, fish. I stay in constant pain.
I have an implant, its called a dorsel column stimulator.
But I have to use pain patches also to put up with the
pain. even to sleep, walk, I wish they could fix me.
I have had 9 operations so far. now the only operations
that I have are the ones to change my batteries0 -
2 hours in the waiting room in boston for what really isnt an emergent complaint would put you about three hours ahead of the game.
not to minimize your pain. i know how bad back muscle sprains can be. but in relation to chest pain, difficulty breathing, labor, motor vehicle accidents etc; back pain isnt that serious. thats why you waited for a little while.
anyway, i hope you feel better.0 -
next time let her be on top.[}:)] Less effort. 0 -
Take it easy for a while big fella. 0 -

If you wish to get faster service in a ER. Tell them that your chest is hurting like hell. 0
