Word trouble

I need microsoft word for a couple of my college classes. I found an old Word 2002 disc and installed it, but I can't find the original case with the Product Key, so I can't run it. Help?

    i have been using open office for about a year now and find it to be adequate, if not equal to MS office. and about 300 bucks cheaper(free).

    Gentlemen, he owns the program legitimately. I know, because I bought it and gave it to him. He just lost the registration code or whatever they call it.

    I had a similar problem a few years ago, and someone here gave me a universal code that worked. I told him about my experience, and that's why he asked.

    Microsoft will assume you are using an unlicensed copy and are looking for a pirate code. Actually, we are looking for a pirate code but we do have a licensed copy. We just can't prove it.

    I guess not. I haven't seen him since he posted that request. He keeps his clothes here. Some of them anyway.

    I've got a copy of Microsoft Publisher 2000 with the key if he can use it. I'll be glad to burn him acopy and send it. Just let me know.
