Who's your pick to win the Daytona 500?
Being the redneck that I am as bad as I hate to admit it. I expect Toyota to win several races.

    As a Ford fan I am going to go with Biffle.

    But honestly Jr. is looking pretty hot and is the man to beat right now.

    And the odds makers in Vegas also have Jr. favored to win.

    They (Toyota) did---last night. Craftsman Truck Series---first through fourth place were all Tundras.

    Tough race to call, as the drivers who qualify best don't always win, and many times the winner has been a dark horse. I like to think maybe NASCAR has gotten enough of a whiff of the discontent from the camp of the hard-core fans that they will let the race run true, but I am doubtful.
    I'd like to see either Tony win (picked him for first in my fantasy league), or Mark Martin (Go, Old Dude!), but I don't believe NASCAR will allow any other car across the line first but a "HaMSter."

    After watching Tony run this afternoon, it would be hard to bet against him. That being said, I would LOVE to see Mark Martin win one.

    If 'Junioooor' doesn't get caught up in a wreck, or blow a motor, he'll win the race. Why? Because ......

    NASCAR is the same thing as 'pro wrestling.'

    That was obvious last week in the 'Bud Shootout.' Once 'Junioooor' was let, er, got to the front, it was a done deal. Last lap, Tony Stewart had a chance to beat 'Junioooor' but Gordon backed off, taking any draft Tony had away, letting 'Juniooor' win. No, I wasn't pulling for Tony. He IS FAT, and I won't set foot in a Home Depot as long as they're his sponsor.

    And, during the after-race commentary, Jeff Hammond says, with a huge smile on his face: "Everyone in NASCAR has been praying for 'Junioooor' all winter long."

    NASCAR 'PRAYING' for 'Junioooor?' Give me a damn break. 'Juniooor' is the new fair-haired boy for NASCAR.

    His daddy gets killed in the 500, and his 'evil stepmother' ends up owning daddy's team. Poor lil 'Juniooooor.'

    'Juniooor' will win the 'papercup championship' too. You heard it here first. NASCAR won't have it any other way!

    Let's see if I understand this........Dale Jr. and Jeff Gordon are team mates and you think that Gordon should NOT have backed off of Tony Stewart so that Stewart could have beaten his teammate. Yep, that proves it
    Nascar races are fixed........
