Springfield XD or CZ 9mm

Has anyone owned both of these guns? Any major differences? I am left handed and the XD has a release for left handers.

Which model CZ are you talking about?

CZ is a brand name not a model.

I'm a leftie, too, and I have two XD's: 9mm and 45acp. They're the best of the best.

I have not owned a CZ handgun although I have a CZ SXS. I have three XD pistols and love them. XD-9 subcompact, XD-40 and XD-45. Mine have feed all rounds from the day I pulled them out of the box. They fit my hand very well and I instinctively shoot more accurately with these than with Glocks, Walthers, Berettas or S&W M&P. I could not recommend them more highly. And... they are less expensive than the others I have listed.

If you're talking about the CZ 100, take the XD.

Any other CZ? Take it hands down, without question.

But if you're comparing the steel CZ's to the XD, you might as well compare apples to watermelons.

I am a lefty also andI have shot a few different CZ's and currently own an XD-40 Tactical. Shoot both and buy the one that fits your hand.

no knowledge of the CZ but carry an XD45 compact everyday and love it. Never had a FTF or FTE since I took it out of the box.
