Went out West in 06.I had no idea how big the U.S. territory was until drove cross country.We were in the southwest.National Parks were everywhere,had no idea there was so much too see and we did,nt see an inkling!Had no idea there were so many Volcanoes in the U.S.,Sunset Crater N.P.,in Arizona has a Volcano,last erupted 10,000 yrs.ago but looked like to me 100.Not much growth of anything in the old lava floes,cinder and ash still covered much of the cone.Capulin Volcano in N.Mexico actually has a road that spirals most of the way to the top,you can walk around the top and down into the cone,not as large as Sunset though.Grand Canyon O.K. but after third overlook looked about the same to me,Wife loved it.Next trip out,want to see Northwest,will be a while,still paying on this one.
