Stuff like that doesn't scare me to quit smoking. Not even blood and guts. I guess if you blew up when you lit up, that might do the trick.

People quit when they decide they want to....and only then.

Anti smoking propaganda just makes me want to smoke more, just in spite.

I literaly watched smoking eat my grandfather away to nothing[V]

The last year of his life he literaly had to think about every single breath he took or else he would run out of air. That last year he could do nothing but lay in his bed because he couldn't even get enough air to his lungs to get out of bed.

He died at the ripe old age of 65[V] and had only smoked for thirty years of his life.

For this reason i will never touch a cigarette.

Trust me, There are some things worse than death[V]

My working environment is just as bad for my health as smoking, so I don't really see how it matters or not.

Look. Addiction is a weird thing. You don't attack addiction with logic. It doesn't work. I'm in a biology-related field and I smoke. I have four immediate family members in health-care professions. Videos like that might prevent people from starting smoking (though I doubt it) but they're not going to convince any smoker to quit.

You've got a point there. And the addict should be called on making a blatantly ridiculous argument. But as an addict myself, I can say again that logic is not the solution to the problem.

I really don't smoke that much, maybe a pack a week. I just like how worked up people get when I type a line of crap for them to feed on.

Watched a father in law, Ron, die an excruciating death from emphysema & lung cancer.
He always laughed and said it'd never happen to him, either.

    It did - big time!

I'd take a bullet in an instant, rather than spend even one day dying that way.

... when he died he was a 77 pound, severely jaundiced (yellow) skeleton of himself, in a glassy eyed agony ... the last phase of his death only lasted nearly three weeks ... barely able to breath, on 24 hour oxygen.

His last words were, "I never knew it was so hard to die."

... yeah, smokers, knock yourselves out!

There are MUCH better ways to go!

Take Vice-President Nelson Rockefeller, for instance. He had Megan Marshak! She didn't die by his side, either ... she ... uh, http://www.ishipress.com/marshak.htm
