well im back after 2 weeks of hell!
2 weeks ago friday night at 10:30 pm, we had a redwood came down and wipe out alot of stuff,including our 7k water tank,shed,bar and all our teak furniture! Here are some pics.....

Looks Awesomely Secluded! I just finished my AR build up. Actually i didnt really build it, i bought a DPMS lower, then got a Colt upper, snapped them together, and put a ARMS flip up rear sight on it. When i get a high rise mounting block on there, im gonna install my simmons scope on there. What AR did you get?

Im agood 90 feet from the creek up a 45 degree slope ,the tree came from the hillside oposite the creek! and yea I love sailing and such!
SuburbanNoise I got a DPMS upper with a Stag lower. and cant find a good lower kit yet, atleast localy.[xx(]0 -

I really like DPMS, my trigger is great, i shot all day with my AR, then switched over to my brothers Wasr-10, the trigger pull on that thing is sooooooo long, it was unbelievable. I guess ive ruined my self, and now must strictly buy AR's! Next thing im looking at is an EO Tech sight. A little spendy but i think worth the money.0 -

I hate that you are having troubles. Are you saving your redwood for anything? I know someone who can make a KILLER liquor cabinet (if you can get him to come out of furniture making retirement!)0 -

Why'd you cut the tank up? Were U using it to catch water? If so, why not just set it back up? 0 -

I got 5 cords out of the tree and several rounds for some projects.
The tank was pitted with rust and it looks better for insurance, it will be replaced with two poly tanks a 2500 hundred and a 5k tank
the 25 for sediment. And THANK YOU! YES!after living all my life in the city this is paradise!Here are some shots awhile back.

Well ... we got earth quakes ... we got fires ... we even got an occasional flash flood ... but falling tree(s) is something I would never think about - although we do see them on the news around here, after an exceptional rainstorm (more like a heavy drizzle to anybody else).
I'd do a careful survey of all the trees within trunk/branches reach of your house. I'd hate to have someone inscribe my tombstone with, "Here lies a young man kilt by a widder maker - on the SECOND time around!"
