Of course, that means my wife had me outside doing yard work. Oh well, it's not like I don't need the exercise.

    Oh, I have a yard, alright. Unfortunately I live on the side of a hill and running the mower is a bear. It got away from me one time and tumbled down into the street.

    It's about 40F here. That means it's slushy, muddy, nasty and ugly.

    The last two weekends, I've been housebound either by weather or ill health. I have to get my man-cave wired for heat. Running the space heaters is just not economically feasable when it gets below 20 or so.
    I've got butt-loads of 38spl, 45acp and 44mag to load, but I just don't want to spend the US dollars to heat my shop.
    I'd do it today, but I'm just having too much fun on GunBroker. plus I'm kinda sick. My little trip to my Dad's house and to the hardware store made me want to take a nap.

    We got a dusting of snow this morning. Most of it had melted off by 1:00. When I came home about 30 minutes ago, it was drizzling and 36 degrees. I hope that doesn't keep up. It's not that we don't need the moisture. The temps are supposed to drop into the 20's tonight. Everything will be glazed over with ice if the rain keeps up into tonight. The forecast is for about 1 inch of snow. I guess I'll find out in the morning.

    Todays outside chores, use snowmobile to haul a few bales of hay to a field 4 miles away to feed a friends mules, Work on automatic stock waterer, and buck up and stack fire wood, trying to get this stuff out of the way before dark because I'm leaving @ 03:00 to go to Jackson Lake ice fishing tomorrow!

    But it has been a very nice day to be outside.
