Which brass tumbler to buy?

The Motor on my Midway 1292 tumbler gave up yesterday. It is made by Jackel and costs around $28.00 plus shipping for a new one. Any suggestions? I'm thinking about the Lyman 2500 magnum tumbler, which has a 1000/.38 spc. capacity or a Dillon tumbler.
The midway was 11 years old.
It is survived by a Frankford Arsenal tumbler, Two Dillon presses, Two Lee presses, and an RCBS Original Rock Crusher press.
Services will be held this afternoon after work.
Midway 1292 will be missed, as it gave 100 percent of what was asked of it.

    I have the 2500 Magnum. I think the Dillon is a better made and better quality tumbler. I have a friend that has the Dillon and it has been going for 10 years and he uses it harder than anyone I have ever come accross. My Lyman 2500 started gettting louder and louder and quit at 13 months. Lyman did rebuild it at no charge so I am happy there and it works well but if I had it to do again it would be a Dillon. I also have a 1292 that I replaced the motor on a few years ago. I got the motor for $5.00 from a guy after his wife ran his tumbler over backing out of the garage.

    Yes the Midway 1292 was good, so I bought a Frankford Arsenal tumbler to use in addition to it. The FA tumbler wasn't as good (no tumbling action, just kind of swirls around the brass). But now I need another one. I hear so many different opinions it get's confusing. I do want large capacity (and longivity).

    The only problem with a tumbler is, that it takes hours to get the brass clean. I actually bought a air operated paint shaker from Harbor Freight($79.99 on sale) that i hook up to my air compressor, and put the media and brass in a gallon can and set it on a low speed, and it cleans the brass like new in about 45 minutes to an hour!
    I have a Dillon tumbler, but it takes hours to get it clean.

    Dillon hands down, Don't even consider any others.

    that actually sounds like a good ideal


    but my next one will be one like this, built in media separator
