Wilson Combat

Haven't seen/ heard much on the forums in a long time about this brand.

But I've seen a lot of dissatisfaction with other high end manufacturers.

Kimber etc.

Any opinions?

    Are these guns worth the dollars they command? I have Colts and Taurus, and S&W and none were anywhere near the price of the WC. Obviously, these guns are an excellent product, but the asking price does get one's attention.

    I'm planning on going to the Tulsa Gun Show this weekend and looking at them. This is supposed to be the world's largest gun show, so I would think they would have some there.

    Looking to purchase a Wilson. Can anyone tell me the difference between a CQB and a Protector? The standard features look similar. Any pros or cons? Thanks

    Question here... Is Wilson Combat 1911's really worth the money, or should a good ole boy settle for a Springfield, maybee Kimber? Submariner just got a new springfield loaded, the gun shoots really well. I like the looks of the gun,but i wonder if i will be happier with the Wilson, I try to live By the rule, YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR!!!!! Thanks

    well I have decided after owning my springfield less than 3 months that I just have to have a wilson combat pistol.I like my springfield but it aint a wilson and I just gotta have one.question is should I put the extra money in the springfield to get the barrell link and the barrell bushing (wilson) to make it more accurate.also more fun to shoot till I can save enough money for the wilson.or just sell it for what i can get and wait on the wilson.I will wind up selling the springfield and probably my hk so i can afford the wilson.if i put the aftermarket stuff into it how much of that can i expect to get back when i sell it?

    not much difference at all, i have a 2000 model, and every catalog the put out since, the old ones had every part listed for every model i looked them up,and all internal parts they are identical, only difference i can find is color and grip choice, protector has a stainless option

    here are 4 2nd place and 1 3rd, i won 1 more second place, and have not did not place lower than 1st since, 28 trophies with a Wilson combat, and hundreds of club level matches
