1911 Takedown
Not as hard as one might think. I took my Shooters Arms 1911 out to the range today, only had 2 Failure to feeds, and i attribute that to break in. Put 50 rounds of Magtech 230gr through her, she loved it. And take down for cleaning was almost fun, its a little more involved than an AR15 take down, but i liked it, it was pretty fun. Do you guys clean your 1911s after every time shooting it?

You gotta keep 'em clean! I can't stand dust on the few firearms I own, but I love getting them dirty. I've never heard of Shooters Arms before, does it seem like a quality pistol? 0 -

Its made in the phillipines, Its the same exact quality as a Rock Island. Ive read on M1911.org that theyre even made in the same factory by Armscor. I could not be happier with it.

Also, theyre very plain, and i like that, I only put a wraparound houge grip on mine, she shoots accurate, and shes a pleasure to shhot!

They don't look like a bad deal. I've been looking for a new 1911 since I traded a stainless Springfield GI for a Dodge Demon. 0 -
all the way down to the bare frame, only thing left is the plunger tube, and pinned in ejector 0
