Romney's house looks comfortable to me. The folks on the linked site seem to think that a three million dollar house is some sort of mansion. Maybe if you live in one of those big square states, but in areas like Southern California $1 million will buy you a nice house, but nothing like a palace. I live in Newport Beach and you'd be lucky to even find a place to live (a small condo) for a million bucks. 0 -

What gets me and a lot of other ppl is they all have money, every single one of them...they all have big homes, more than 1 home for most of them...YET they all say they are for the common man, will cut taxes etc, will do this and that for the working person...
None of them know what its like to not have money...If I remember right, (could be wrong) they were all born into money, so they have never had to work for anything yet they say they are for the working class?...wonder how they would like to live on 2 grand a month?..or on 560 some odd on SSI disability?...They wouldnt have a clue...0 -
Rudy G's old man was an Italian immigrant and ex-con who was unemployed most of the time. McCain, who's father (and grandfather were admirals) was a Navy brat who spent most of his childhood on Navy bases. Hillary's father Hugh Rodom ran a small and modestly sucessful textile business. Not exactly people born to means IMHO. In fact those three parents seem more like a slice of real Americana to me: Immigrant working folks, a military family and a small business owner. The fact that their kids made it big just shows how far you can go in this country if you apply yourself (I did and I don't gripe about much). The problem is that most people don't even bother to try and better themselves (like going to school and getting a degree) but they sit back and cry their eyes out when they see well off people living in what they consider fancy houses and driving expensive cars. 0 -

Question is: How many of them were living at this level before they went into politics? If their political career led them to this level of living, I don't understand the concept of "public service". Elected officials make good money by ordinary standards, but not enough to live at these levels.
On second thought - maybe their sub-prime adjustable rate mortgages are coming due... I withdraw my cynical thoughts for any who are evicted for failing to make their housed payment.0 -

All I can find is he lives in Lake Jackson Texas, and his wife Carole has a my space page....My space freezes me when I go there so if someone wants to see what they can find on him there, go for it...
There are a lot of pics of him on the web, not much of his kids/wife/grandkids and so far none of his home...I typed in everything I can think of to get to it and nothing...
