Colorado is 16 out of a hundred.0 -
I think Vermont got close to a 2 out of 100. Had a couple of drug shootings by out of staters and the Gun-Control buzz word has been in the news. Most of the Law Enforcement people say the current laws are just fine. Worse than I thought, we got a 9, not a 2[V] 0 -

Stupid/ignorant question: How do I find out where my state ranks?
I've never had any desire to visit a Brady website (either the old TV show or the gun-control dweebs), so I'm not really sure what to type in a search for to find this info.
Indiana seems pretty open-minded so far -- haven't encountered any roadblocks to anything I've wanted to buy or do. Matter of fact I'll be hitting local flea markets over the next few weeks, passing through that Liberally-dreaded "gun show loophole" to buy an SKS without benefit of FFL or other paperwork. Given the progression of the presidential primaries, I think I'd be wise to get this done fairly soon -- while I still can.
Edit: while I was writing my first post, the link in the post above mine was provided. Whoo-hoo! Indiana is tied at 32 with Montana and Florida, scoring only 8. Of course, across the river, in Kentucky, those folks rank 49th, with a score of 2 -- lucky dogs.

What's scary is that CA with all its Draconian laws and nearly total destruction of the individual citizen's right to keep and bear arms only got a 79. Yes, that was tops on the list but still only a C grade by percentage.

Yeah, I'd like to see this list up against a list of violent crime rates with the states' ranks. Something tells me that the higher Brady ranks the state, the higher the violent crime rate will be. THey just don't get it. Cheap prize to whomever posts it first. 0 -
