Making Brochures Need Software Advice

HI, I am going to be printing up some brochures for advertising. The brochures will most likely be one sheet printed in color with photos etc. on both sides and then folded kind of like the ones you see in a motel lobby. I am seeking advice on what software works well and any other advice is also very much appreciated.
