Picked it up today
I finally managed to pick up my FN 5.7 pistol today. But I couldn't get a lane at the range, durnit. It'll have to wait a few more days, I guess.
Question: the SN is on the front of the frame. There's also a sticker on the slide with the SN, a bar code and some other information. Would it be illegal to remove that sticker?

I'm guessing it is as the frame still has the SN and the slide isn't the gun, legally. But I'd like yer input!0 -

All I can tell you is that I am 99% sure that it would be legal to remove it. If it is meant to stay on it wouldn't be in sticker form(I would think anyways). That being said, I like 100% better then 99%, so maybe wait for a more exact responses just in case...
BTW--enjoy that gun. It should be a lot of fun to shoot.[;)]

there would be nothing wrong with removing the sticker from the slide. It is only the frame that needs the serial number to be visable. It's like buying a double barrel shotgun, you will find the serial number on the the tang, on the watermark, on the barrels and on the forend. but the only one that matters is the one on the watermark or tang. the rest are just to match parts. 0 -

I do wonder if it's like the RAMM sticker where if you remove it, it voids the warranty.0
