Watched it last night. I have never seen the original. I need to watch it now. Decent western. I have surely seen better.

    Saw it last night. Don't waste your time. Pretty poor movie with a very thin plot and about as anti-climactic as you can get in the end. What a waste of 2 hours.

    Went back and looked at this old thread for reviews and 16 replys, no feedback on movie??? Im thinking about renting it, good or bad?

    I thought the movie was entertaining and action packed. The action was very Hollywood; the opening scene with the stagecoach/gun truck really sets the pace for the movie. I realize that most movies are designed to entertain and not to inform, therefore, I am not disappointed by any lack of realism. Good movie to waste some time on.

    It was a good movie but it ended different from the old one. I didn't like that part but other than that good movie.

    Near the end bullet count from a wheel gun gets HOLLYWOODIZED[:D]. It did make me want to get a S&W Schofield again (only if they ever made one with a full lug 6" barrel).

    I've seen the original movie lots of times. Probably when it first came out too. I saw the new version yesterday. The two are no where close to being the same movie. Only vague references throughout the movie might suggest that they are.........[;)][;)] One is a true western and one is a modern western catering to blasting everything to smithereens...........[}:)][}:)]

    2 hours of entertainment if you have nothing better to do. I enjoyed it. I thought the acting was excellent.

    haven't seen the new one yet. heard good things about it. but i fell asleep half way through the old one a couple weeks ago.

    WEll, I burnt me a copy of it so I'll probably watch it again later and maybe like it more.
