To buy or not to buy? (update) Bought. NOW PICS

I was in at the local gun shop today and came across a Saiga .410. I can get it for $200. I have a Tromix 12ga and it is awsome. I have 2 .410's now, a Springfield M6 and a Mossberg 500, so I am not sure what I would do with this one. I have seen the prices on these things climb so maybe just stash it away. I like the .410 and it is fun to shoot, but the cost of ammo is crazy.

He also had one in .223 and .308. I did not think to look at the prices but I know they have been climbing like crazy in price too.

All this and I am still hunting for a good price on a Springfield scout for my MK 14 build.

    Just buy it, if nothing else you can turn around and sell it for a profit....

    Just a thought Why would you ask members of a gun forum if you should buy a gun. Kinda like an alcholoic going into a bar to hoping to have someone tell him not to drink. Now quit bragging about the deal you can get and go buy.

    I need to check pricing but I may very well pick up the .308 as well. .223 would be my last choice. This dealer is great about making good deals.

    No on .410 and yes to any others!
    410 ammo is getting extinct and a non antique gun in it's caliber is a waste.

    I agree but I have about 1k of it on hand, and I would pick up a reloading press.

    found some cheep mags (before they went up)

    gets all the skeet shootere upset when they see you getting ready to shoot skeet with an AK looking gun[;)]

    price is going to keep going up, i paid $225 a year ago

    Cool! Help me out, everyone. Can you get large-capacity mags for the Saiga? Are they basically AK mags with followers made to handle the chambered ammo? I'm curious -- and at those prices, might keep an eye one for one.

    There are factory full size mags for all of these guns, but they can be hard to come by. In the .223 I have heard you can do a mod to use .223 AK mags. The Saiga Forums is a great place for info on these guns.

    In the .308 there is a company making 25rd mgas and they run about $50/ea.

    In the .410 the only ones have heard of are the 10rd factory mags that seem to go for over $100 when you can find them.

    In 12ga there is a company making 10rd mags and they seem to run in the $50/ea range. There are also 2 companies making drums, one molded for ~$175, and one machined for ~$325. There are also semi hard to come by factory 8rd mags.

    Ok I am early, but here are the pics:

    I also did some trading with a buddy of mine the other night and ended up with an older (preban) Mini-14. He has one more factory stainless mag to get to me. It came with the wood stock and a bullpup stock too. I plan on selling this folder and the bullpup to help pay for one of the factory style folders in stainless. I am not a huge Mini fan but with the folders they look really cool, and I got it for the right price.
