Trigger Pull
It seems like a lot of people put a very high importance on trigger pull. It just doesnt seem that very important to me. Granted, im not a competition shooter, but i can most likely hit center at 25 yards with any handgun trigger. What am i missing? And please dont flame, this is just a question.

Try putting 10 shots into an X-ring 1 inch wide at 25 yards using one hand only under time pressure.
People actually do that?

No, people aren't that good. Now people can come close to being that good. You're probably talking 2 to 3 inches at 25 yards for a one handed unsupported position. Timed and rapid fire stages for NRA sanctioned Bull's Eye are done in two 5 shot strings, so it is 10 shots total before they are scored.
You should try a few different guns. Try your Ruger P89 in double action mode... then your smith in single action. You should notice a different at least in feel0
