Glock Carbine????

I was at the range this past Sunday and this guy was asking the owner about the "new" Glock Carbine. He said he read about it on the internet and said it looked awesome. I have searched and searched, but could not find anything. You guys know anything about it?
This guy was giving details such as caliber offerings, 9mm, .40, .45, and even .223. Went on to say it was built on a MP-5 style frame.

    This MAY be what he was talking about, but this guy was adamant about it being a true carbine that looked alot like a MP-5 and being offered in .223. I don't know.

    There has been rumors about that for at least 5 years if not longer. I have not seen it yet either.

    I actually have a set up for one for my 17. I've only taken it out once so far, it works. But I want to run some more rounds thru it before a review.
