That Duesenberg was a bargain. Those usually go for $1 Million+.
It is absolutely amazing to me that a perfectly restored Hemi Cuda went for about the same money as a perfectly restored Duesenberg.0 -

You will usually note one of two things in a satisfactory transaction: Seller thinks buyer is crazy for paying such a price. Buyer thinks seller is crazy for letting it go for what it did.

PS..only repro approved by Carrol Shelby (due to use of original blueprints/line drawings) is Superformance. It's really not a repro. Classified as a continuation of the original '60's production run. If I had the "ka-ching", I wouldn't settle for any other. Here's the link:

Old Colts: givette here. No. Not the Cobra. I priced a GT-40 and figgered I'd be into it between 80k-90k when I was ready to roll out the showroom. Not cheap. Almost sorry I asked the dealership near me. (The dealers are dotted across the US).
And you mention entry level. There is none. Comes completely assembled from the factory minus eng/trans. Wiring harness ready for final hook-up. Dealership installs the eng/trans after you purchase the car. It's because of a loophole that allows you (the ultimate owner) to have a [new] car w/o modern emissions choking the engine, and a wooden steering wheel, which nowadays is not DOT approved on a new vehicle. That is no run of the mill Cobra. Can you guys spell Twin Paxton Supercharged? [8D] That thing will still kick butt on most any street legal car on the roads today.
