NO AIR MACHINES??? HOW BOUT NO PAYPHONES

Its unreal about the air machines but heaven forbid your cell runs out of juice or no service and need a payphone, i find this unsafe

    Just heard about this on the tv the other day. Because of their lack of use by people, pay phones are being phased out. They anticipate they'll all be gone within the next 2 years. Better keep your battery charged.

    Isnt that crazy....most dont work because they dont service them anymore or they are just ripped out...

    They removed the last one in my town a month ago, and have a crapy cell site where you have to walk to the post office to get a signal!

    Well, it costs money to keep them up and running. How much? I haven't a clue. But apparently it's enough to where they are losing money and they don't want to provide the service anymore. I have to agree that most of them I've seen have been vandalized anyway.

    I don't think they worry about rural areas and signals too much. Any big city you go to you get amazing signal strength out of your cell. At least I have. In the smaller towns, not quite as good yet.

    I won't miss them. I probably haven't used one in 15 years.
